Chocolate Lovers Flock to Constance Popp"

Chocolatier Constance Popp has quickly become a force to be reckoned with among chocolate lovers, not only in Winnipeg but nationally, as well as across the border.
Coming up on her 3rd anniversary, Chocolatier Constance Popp has already been featured in many articles and television programs, has been honoured with awards, and sought-out by the Olympics and the Queen of England herself. This is not surprising, taking into consideration that Constance Menzies, owner, insists on using only high grade, whole ingredients and makes everything from scratch. Everything is fresh; there are no preservatives or artificial flavours in any of her premium artisan chocolate, bon bons or truffles. She uses premium Belgium chocolate (dark, white, milk and single-origin) and the creams and pralines are made with a range of spices, fruits and nuts. Most of the ingredients are organic, fair trade and they use made-in-Manitoba products whenever possible (they have diabetic chocolate too!).
Constance chose to open her business in the St. James Village BIZ because not only because she lives in the neighbourhood, but wanted her business to be in-keeping with her sense of community. Although Constance is originally from Quebec, her pride in Manitoba is quite obvious as she pays tribute to Manitoba with such treats as the 'Manitobar,' and also has the official 'OK' for the chocolate mould of Manitoba's own Golden Boy - exclusive to Chocolatier Constance Popp. Not only is there a wide selection of bon bons, truffles and bars, but also does custom work, including company logos, and has an array of special seasonal and themed chocolate moulds which will add to the festivities of any holiday or special occasion.
The shop is completely renovated keeping sustainability in mind, including: reclaimed lumber flooring, new high-efficiency furnace etc., and they use compostable packaging and eco-friendly cleaning products.
